Four pupils of a public school secretly meet after school to hang out, do booze and gamble. They’re going for extremes in order to escape the golden cage their wealthy parents put them in. With time the games get increasingly violent and plague the weakest member of the group – who fears nothing more than losing their friendship. So he takes even the most twisted ordeals and unresistingly surrenders to the victim’s role. The spiral of violence and peer pressure continues to spin out of control – until the inevitable happens…
Director Thomas Stuber, student at the film academy in Ludwigsburg, shows impressive directorial talent in his debut feature-length film, supported by an excellent group of young German actors.
