Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinejad also used his last appearance at
the UN General Assembly for attacks on Israel. His term runs out next
year. Relations are continually tense between the Western world and
Iran, and we don’t hear anymore of protests that might happen. We
selected four films, three documentaries and a short fiction film, among
them a world premiere and two German premieres. BLAMES AND FLAMES looks
back: the history of the Islamic revolution of 1978 as cinema history.
REVOLUTIONARY MEMORIES OF BAHMAN WHO LOVED LEILA tells a love story in
times of the Islamic revolution. Set in present is 4441ST DAY OF MY LIFE – the adventure of taking a cab. STREETS SULTANS shows, that the new
sport parcouring is on the rise in Iran as well.
