exground filmfest 25 takes a peak at the short-film scene of our neighboring country Poland. The festival "Short Waves", touring 30
cities each year, is a platform for Polish short film. As "Short Waves
Allround" it also tours Europe, presenting the festival year’s most
intriguing films. We selected six films for Wiesbaden together, among
them two German premieres. In 3 DAYS OF FREEDOM we accompany Piotr on
his first free days after 15 years in jail. Free days from war we
witness in TO WAR WE GO! The protagonist in EVERYTHING IN ITS RIGHT
PLACE needs order. In VANISHING, a mother is desperately looking for her
lost son, and in I’M LOOKING FOR A CERTAIN PERSON we are all looking for
the right person. Also really strong: THE STRONGWOMAN. Not to be missed!
