A bourgeois family in search of their inner selves: Etty, her husband Evert and their children are a perfectly normal family, who over the years have developed a slightly dysfunctional way of relating to one another. Then, with the arrival of the German exchange student Veit, doubt, insecurity, fear and desire invade the family. And a silent war begins between ugly Eva Van End and the popular girls.
"Pasolini’s TEOREMA is successfully transplanted to Dutch suburbia; (…) helmer Michiel ten Horn (...) finds exactly the right tone for this quirky tale." (Variety)
