Biography: Nadav Schirman was born in Jerusalem as son of a diplomat and he grew up in Paris, Montreal and in the United States. He served as a Liaison Officer to the United Nations forces in Syria and Lebanon. As a director, screenwriter and producer, Schirman currently lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Schirman’s first documentary, THE CHAMPAGNE SPY (2008), won among others the Israeli Academy Award for Best Documentary, was nominated for the European Film Award and won the John Schlesinger Award for Best Debut Film.
