Biography: Damián Szifron, born in 1975 in Rarnos Mejfa, province of Buenos Aires/Argentina, got a degree in film studies at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. From 2002 to 2003, he produced, wrote and directed two seasons of the award-winning series LOS SIMULADORES. ln 2003, he presented his first film, THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA, at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival. ln 2005, he wrote and directed TIEMPO DE VALIENTES, that got several national and international awards. After WILD TALES, Szifron is planning to shoot THE PERFECT COUPLE (a Iove story), THE FOREIGNER (an ambitious science-fiction tale) and LITTLE BEE, an English-language Western film.
