In the film, we observe the daily ups and downs of her life during the director’s six-month stay with Falaknaz and her family. But Falaknaz is no ordinary village woman. When she got married at the age of 15, she, quite unconventionally, became the main breadwinner of the household. |

Biography: Sahar Salahshoor, born in 1982, started her cinema career as an assistant director in 1999. In 2002, she made her first documentary SILHOUETTE. In the following years, 2004 she attended several international courses and workshops of documentary filmmaking. In 2007, she was part of the BBC World Service Trust’s workshop, where she made BEHIND THE WHEEL OF LIFE. Her films have screened at festivals in many countries, so far.
