Salavati has directed eleven short films, three documentaries and two fiction features so far: THE DEPARTURE TIME (2011) and THE LAST WINTER (2012). His films have been awarded over 50 prizes. He is also known for MY BEAUTIFUL SON WILL BE THE KING (2007) and EAST KURDISTAN (2008).
