His exercise LA REVANCHA DEL RITMO – 6 DECADES OF ROMPIN’ ’N’ STOMPIN’ FLOORFILLERS embraces Latin-Groovers, Soul-Shakers, Funk-Burners and Breakbeat-Smashers, but also classics like “Buona Sera, Señorita“, Nancy Sinatra and more. A mixture of the unknown, expected, and unheard will guarantee a swinging party after ten days of nonstop festival.
Prior to that, the guys from “Das Rock ’n’ Roll Quartett“ will tear the place up. Usually we write our own texts, but in this case we quote parts from their press release because we couldn’t say it any better: “Lovingly selected songs by Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent or even Louis Prima drive everybody out of their seats, unless they need a short break from dancing or the sweat sticks too hard.“ This is where the music is, and the four gentlemen have a clear home bonus: Wolf Karpen (also “Die Rodrigo Brothers feat. die Rodrigo Sisters“), Johannes Christiani (“Porky & Little Monsters“, “Bittersweet“), John Dunn (“Johnny and The Jonettes“) and Lothar Dressel (played in several Soul- and Bigbands way back in the Sixties).
