Short films are a lot more than exercises of film students. With little time to tell a story you have to keep to the essence. Short film makers are the real masters. Not unfounded some directors are present again and again in our competition. We show films exclusively shot on celluloid – 35mm, 16mm, Super8. This makes it hard to compile a first-class program. Even more so we’re happy to have had a good choice once more, though it’s hard to reject films well worth being shown. The result is a colourful mixture of short features, documentaries, experimental films and animations.
