The competition for best Wiesbaden short is on for the sixth tme. Ten films were selected by directors born or living in Wiesbaden or films shot here. The winner is chosen by the audience and will be announced at the award ceremony of the German short film contest on November 21, 2010. The winning film’s director for the first time receives not just EUR 500, but also a valuable prize. The money comes from Wiesbadener Kurier again, exground filmfest’s media partner.
On top of that the winner of the Wiesbaden-Special – Short film contest may use equipment and know how of the Wiesbaden sound studio Klangbezirk for the final sound mix of her/his next film. The "Filmsound Special" prize is worth approximately EUR 2,000.
