A small jubilee: for the tenth time, exground filmfest presents the international ON-VIDEO Contest. 20 films from 16 countries compete for the jury award endowed with EUR 1,500. Since 2009, the prize money is sponsored by the exground circle of friends – we would like to take this opportunity to thank them very much. All in all, the program includes one world premiere, three international premieres, one European premiere, and seven German premieres. A jury of three will decide which director can take home the award for "best film" on video format: Rita Thies, former and film-affine Chairwoman of the Cultural Offices of the State Capital Wiesbaden, Csaba Letay, member of the Polynoid group who won this contest in 2010 with their animation film LOOM, and Martin Scheuring, authorized agent of "German Films". The winner of the ON-VIDEO Contest will be announced in the course of the award ceremony for the German Short Film Contest on November 20, 2011
