New blook author Ada (Fritzi Haberlandt) and the aging screen star Nino (Mario Adorf) are trapped in a luxury hotel. At first Ada is unnerved by the famous actor, but then lets herself be charmed by his personality and his congeniality. In order to kill time they start amusing-bizarre role-plays. Their approaches to life are contrasting, but exactly that is fascinating and brings them closer. It becomes a special night for both of them. They are confronted with questions, they wouldn’t have asked otherwise. The random encounter turns to heartfelt closeness. When they part the next morning, the night has not just given a new experience to both of them.
