Juvenile delinquent Ben, who doesn’t refrain from physical violence, gets the chance to start over in a project of open prison regime. In a house in the woods he shall gain social competence in a familial community. Ben is being difficult, ignores rules and creates unrest in the group. When the "mother of the family" Eva comes back from treatment in a health resort, Ben is confronted with one of his victims. The case of his brutal attack on her was never solved, but Eva develops a suspicion. When she proves right, Ben’s situation seems hopeless. Eva as well as he are at a turning point. Living together turns into constantly testing both their limits, and nobody knows, how it’s gonna end.

The award-winning debut film shows the complexity of guilt and forgiveness in the moving story of an attempt to social rehabilitation.
