Filmed on five continents and in twelve countries, FOLLOWING THE NINTH is the story of four people whose lives have been transformed, repaired and healed by the 9th’s message: "Alle Menschen werden Brüder (All People Are Connected)." One of the most impressive examples: At Tienanmen Square in 1989, students played the 9th over loudspeakers as the army came in to crush their protests for freedom.
Biography: Kerry Candaele was born in Vancouver/Canada and grew up in Lompoc, a small working-class town on the central coast of California. After attending Chico State College, U.C. Santa Barbara, and Columbia University – where he was a Richard Hofstader Fellow in U.S. history – he taught history and politics at various colleges including Occidental College and Cal State Dominguez Hills in California. He is the author of two books on U.S. history. He resides in Venice, California, with his wife and three daughters.
