For the twelfth time exground filmfest presents the International Short Film Competition (formerly ON VIDEO). 15 films from 15 countries compete for the jury award, endowed with EUR 1,500. Sine 2009, the prize money is given by the exground-circle of friends, who we thank very much. Find out more about the exground-circle of friends on page 83. From fiction, documentary- and experimental film to animation and music clip all categories are present, among them six German premieres. A jury of three will decide, which director may take the award for "best international short film": screenwriter María Cristina Hervás, who in 1994 won a prize at exground filmfest, Marcin Łuczaj, festival curator and producer from Poland, and Holger Tepe, director, curator and former Osnabrück festival director. The International Short Film Competition’s winner will be announced at the award ceremony of the German Short Film Competition on November 24, 2013.
