María Cristina Hervás
A cinema fan as child already, she studied dramatics and film studies in Berlin, then went on to Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where she graduated in directing. After several short films – among them JORGE, coming in second in the German Short Film Competition at exground filmfest 1994 – she changed to screenwriting and has written numerous scripts for TV. She organized film series, was on the selection committee for the Ludwigsburg film festival and jury member, among others at Interfilm Festival Berlin.
Marcin Łuczaj
He graduated in film studies at Łódz University in Poland, since then he has programmed and promoted Polish shorts abroad within Zubroffka Short Film Festival. He is also involved in various film activities and festivals, among others in Short Waves and Warsaw Film Festival. Additionally, he programmed and coordinated the first Polish short film distribution project – World Shorts, monthly shown in around 15 Polish cities. Recently he also joined the production company Koi Studio, where he produces short films and now develops his first feature-length documentary.
Holger Tepe
He was the long-time director of the Independent FilmFest Osnabrück and is mostly interested in socio-politically engaged film. Apart from the festival work he curates and organizes film series and -events as a free-lancer. On several committees of youth-, media- and film work, among others chair of the LAG Jugend & Film Niedersachsen e. V., co-chair of the Kinobüro Niedersachsen & Bremen e. V. as well as constant guest in the Supervisory Board of nordmedia fonds GmbH. With passion and perseverance he also shoots short films, mostly on super 8.
