Das Thema Familie spielt bei allen fiktionalen Stoffen dieses Jahr eine große Rolle. Und viele deutsche Schauspielstars sind auf den exground- Leinwänden zu sehen: Irm Hermann, Mario Adorf, Suzanne von Borsody, Hark Bohm, Sunnyi Melles, Ulrich Noethen, Anna Thal- bach, André M. Hennicke und die Wiesbadenerin Jasna Fritzi Bau- er. Auch der TV-Liebling Klaas Heufer-Umlauf spielt mit, in DEAR COURTNEY von Rolf Roring, der Geschichte eines „Great Rock ’n’ Roll Swindle“. In SCHERBENPARK von Bettina Blümner will sich die junge Sascha am Mörder ihrer Mutter, ihrem Stiefvater, rächen. In Florian Eichingers NORDSTRAND sollen zwei Brüder ihre Mutter, die den gewalttätigen Vater umgebracht hat, aus dem Gefängnis abholen. Samuel Perriard erzählt in seinem Spiel- filmdebüt SCHWARZER PANTHER ebenfalls von zwei Geschwis- tern, die nach dem Tod der Eltern ein Ferienhaus in den Schweizer Alpen verkaufen wol- len, und deren tiefer Liebe zueinander. In DeAD von Sven Halfar sucht ein Sohn nach dem Selbstmord seiner Mutter nach seinem Erzeuger. Lola Randls Hauptdarstellerin Maria Kwiatkowsky starb vor zwei Jahren bei den Dreharbeiten zu DIE ERFINDUNG DER LIE- BE. Die Regisseurin stellte den Film über ein Paar, das seine Liebe verkauft, mit einer Mischung aus Originalaufnahmen und nachgedrehten Szenen fertig. Absolut sehenswert ist auch CONTINUITY vom Videokünstler Omer Fast. Ein Ehepaar muss mit dem Verlust des Sohnes klarkommen, der im Afghanistan-Einsatz der Bundeswehr fiel. In SUNNY von Barbara Ott muss der junge Hajo eine Arbeit finden und gleichzeitig auf sein Baby auf- passen. TOMO von Florian Heinzen-Ziob erzählt vom Tod des Haushaltsroboters der Fa- milie Neumann. Im Dokumentarfilm ONE ZERO ONE porträtiert Tim Lienhard die beiden Drag-Queens „Cybersissy“ und „Baybjane“. Jochen Hick und Andreas Strohfeldt gehen in OUT IN OST-BERLIN auf Spurensuche: Wie lebte es sich als Schwuler oder Lesbe in der DDR? DRAGAN WENDE – WEST BERLIN von Lena Müller und Dragan von Petrovic zeigt den gleichnamigen Exiljugoslawen, einst König der West-Berliner Unterwelt!
