A New York film and the study of an obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The idea of documenting the New York art scene is quickly overshadowed by the OCD of Oliver Sechting, and the two directors fall prey to a conflict that becomes the central theme of their film. Thus, the encounters with the artists more and more resemble therapy sessions. At last, Andy Warhol-superstar Ultra Violet opens a new door.
Biography:
Oliver Sechting is social pedagogue and since 2008 has been working with Rosa von Praunheim Film Production. He collaborated on many films, among them as assistant director and consultant on the award-winning documentary DIE JUNGS VOM BAHNHOF ZOO [RENT BOYS] about male poverty prostitution and co-director on several short documentaries for TV.
Max Taubert gathered first experience as assistant director on the documentary ROSAS WELT [ROSA’S WORLD], then took on co-directing WIE ICH LERNTE, DIE ZAHLEN ZU LIEBEN [HOW I LEARNT TO LOVE THE NUMBERS].
