An observational documentary about the everyday life in a Greek Roma settlement in Athens that is in danger of demolition. As the municipality decides to tear down the houses, the Roma begin to organize themselves and to protest against this injustice. The film accompanies the community in their attempt to preserve their identity and their fight for their rights in Greece.
Biography: Myrna Tsapa studied film direction at the Stavrakos Film School in Athens/Greece. Her films were shown within the official selections of many festivals, among others in Clermont Ferrant, Aix-en-Provence, Thessaloniki, Mexico City and Florence. Since 1998, she has also been working for the Greek television directing TV mini-series and documentaries.
