For the 14th time exground filmfest presents the International Short Film Competition. 18 films from 16 countries compete for the jury award, endowed with EUR 1,500. Since 2009, the prize money is given by the exground-circle of friends, whom we thank very much. From fiction, documentary- and experimental film to animation all categories are present, among them four German premieres, one international premiere and one world premiere. A jury of three will decide, which director, may take the award for "best international short film": Bettina Schoeller, writer, director and producer from Berlin, Iliana Zakopoulou, Head of sales and promotion of the Greek Film Centre in Athens, and Gerald Weber, Deputy Managing Director of sixpackfilm, Vienna. The International Short Film Competition’s winner will be announced at the award ceremony of the German Short Film Competition on November 22, 2015.
