Jens Hoffmann asks the people behind the sex business, who are they and what are their reasons to work in this field? Or is it a way of life? Ten stories unfold their "normal" life, their hopes and dreams. A teenager, who can’t wait to turn 18, in order to become a porn star; a married couple acting in hardcore films together, directing and producing films, a caring mother and wife performing extreme sex or the former punk and most-booked man in the valley. The demands of this kind of performance take their toll for sure; and a short time in this business can mean everything from beginning or end of a career or the normal life.
This is no voyeuristic porn-making of, but an unadorned and authentic glance behind the scenes.
