Lonely Raquelita watches her mother gradually turning blind and losing the ability to master daily routine. Their flat is a mess and mother absorbed by her fate. Raquelita does the shopping, and when her mum leaves the house it never ends the way it should. Her only other contact is beggar Viola.
To get closer to her mum and please her, she develops a dangerous plan: she mixes eyedrops from different chemicals, in order to turn blind herself.
