SHORT MATTERS! – PART II shows the PRIX UIP-winners from the Angers, Berlin, Grimstad, Rotterdam, Venice, Vila do Conde and Sarajevo festivals. FRANKIE by Darren Thornton portrays a 15-year-old wanting to prepare for his upcoming fatherhood. The film not just won EUR 2,000 at the Berlin International Film Festival, but also the European Film Award for best short, endowed with EUR 10,000. Among others this program also shows the winner of our International ON-VIDEO award 2007: PROCRASTINATION by Johnny Kelly, a wonderful study about deferring things needing immediate attention.
