During their childhood, siblings Lacey and Willy were tortured by their mother’s lover, until the boy kills him. Years later: Willy lives with his sister’s family. He hasn’t spoken a word since his deed. Lacey is plagued by nightmares and memories. When they return to their parents’ home, the horror takes its course.
In the early 1980s, THE BOOGEYMAN became one of the leading horror movies together with HALLOWEEN, and topped the American movie charts for four weeks.
