filmfest > contests > kfw - german short film-contest

2011 is the year of change. Technology has now caught up with the German Short Film Contest as well. We have decided to allow video formats for the first time, since by now they have a quality almost up there with the pure film formats. Positive side effect: we now have even more films to painfully choose from for this evergreen and crowd puller at exground filmfest, henceforth in its 19th edition! There is also news regarding the awards. We will sponsor the prize money of EUR 2,000 for second place ourselves. Of course we hope to find a sponsor again next year. For the first time, the company Pille Filmgeräteverleih GmbH will support us with a non-cash prize worth EUR 2,000 for video and film technology. The matching award winner will be chosen from the ten entries for the German Short Film Contest by a jury from the Pille company.
