Harvest time requires work on weekends as well, the stable has to be clean at all times, and the calf rejected by its mother needs feeding. Marko is apprentice on a big farm in Brandenburg, 60 kilometers south of Berlin. If he passes his final exam, he’s a famer. Yet he doesn’t know, whether he wants that. Outside of work he’s not too sociable, the other eleven trainees consider him an uncommunicative loner. This changes, when the new intern Jacob comes. Marko slowly drops his cover. During harvest, transporting the wheat and taking care of the calves they get closer by and by. They escape to Berlin for a day, after which nothing is like it was any longer. A love story begins...
