Biography: Volker Heymann, originally biologist, switched to theatre business after passing his diploma. After acting studies in New York City and engagements at several theatres he began to write theatre plays and comedy shows. Currently, he works as a free-lancing playwright, director and actor. As part of the satirical theatre group „Mannheimer Kulturknall“, he appears on the scene all over Germany. Since 2011 he also makes short films.
