For the first time in the history of the German Short Film Competition we can offer twelve films to choose from. Cross-genre we rely on the well-proven mixture of reflective, pleasurable and informative. We hope to have met your taste once again and to choose your favorite will be a hard task. We are especially happy, that Magenta TV this year sponsors the prize money for second place again. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the State Capital of Wiesbaden, having sponsored the prize money for first and third place since many years – and Pille Filmgeräte Verleih, as in previous years offering a non-cash prize. The screenings of the German Short Film Award are always very well attended. Make sure you buy your ticket on time!
