For the tenth time now Wiesbaden filmmakers compete for the award "Best Wiesbaden Short Film". Selected were eleven films, among them one out of competition and four world premieres, by either Wiesbaden-born or directors living here or shot in Wiesbaden. The program is part of the program "Film City Wiesbaden", initiated in cooperation with the city’s department of culture. The prize money of EUR 500 goes to the director of the winning film and is donated by Wiesbadener Kurier newspaper, the local media partner of exground filmfest. Additionally, the winner has two days in the Klangbezirk sound lab for the final sound mix of her/his next project. The "Film Sound Special Award" is worth EUR 2,000. The winner of the awards determined by the audience via voting will be announced during the award ceremony for the German Short Film Competition on November 23, 2014.
