Biography: Pablo Larraín was born in Santiago/Chile in 1976. He studied Audiovisual Communication at Santiago’s Universidad de Artes, Ciencias y Comunicación (UNIACC). One of his university teachers was the famous Chilean filmmaker and author, Miguel Littín. After his studies he worked as a photographer and commercial filmmaker. In 2005, he founded the production company Fábula together with his brother Juan de Dios Larraín. One year later, his first feature film, FUGO, was released and won several prizes at international film festivals. In 2013, he was named as a member of the jury at the Venice International Film Festival.
