After five years of training and work as a TV journalist he started his own business in 1998 and wrote, produced and directed short films and music |
videos, among others for Udo Lindenberg. Since 2005, he has also worked as a director for TV advertisements. In 2008, he made his first feature-length film BERGFEST, which screened at 20 national and international film festivals and won several awards. Similarly successful were his second film NORDSTRAND (2013) and DIE HÄNDE MEINER MUTTER, coming to cinemas at the end of 2016.
