San Sebastian at night. Jota, a former rock musician, stands on a bridge about to end his life, as his girlfriend left him. A motorbike comes up and shoots down off the street. The would-be suicide sees the driver being thrown onto the beach. He runs down, opens the helmet’s visor and sees a beautiful young woman. To his surprise she’s physically unharmed, but has lost her memory. Jota gets an idea: he invents a new biography for the woman and calls her Lisa – similar to his ex Eli, who he also made music with. Allegedly "Lisa" has lived with him for four years. She believes it, which gives Jota the chance to rearrange his own life, as
along with Lisa’s biography he changes his own.
A unique mixture of love story, detective and comedy – one of the most inventive films of the 1990s, highly awarded, in Cannes and at the Goyas. Jota’s t-shirt is price-worthy as well – have a look!
