This Swedish social drama portrays 15-year-old Sebbe, who is the only child of his overstrained mother and tries to somehow get through his difficult adolescence. His mother has an alcohol problem and fails to protect him – they quarrel quite a bit. At school things aren’t great, either. On top of that he gets bullied by brutal co-students. Peace he can only find in fiddling about. He loves to roam scrapyards and looks for all sorts of parts he combines to imaginative lamps and all sorts of bizarre objects. If it makes an exploding device – all the better. Then Sebbe builds a real bomb and plans to detonate it in class. Will it ignite?
