An outstanding documentary on "elBulli", the restaurant of Ferrán Adriá. His creativity on cooking as an art. In 1956, the Schillings arrived in Cala Montjoi, a remote spot besides the Mediterranean Sea, to build their home and a snack bar, which later became "elBulli", named since then the best restaurant in the world five times. Dr Schilling got to turn the bar into a restaurant that was awarded its first Michelin star in 1976. With the arrival of Juli Soler in 1981 and of Ferrán Adriá in 1983, the story took on an epic feel, and persistence, luck and talent. Ferrán Adriá is a chef with his own personality, after having profoundly explored his Mediterranean roots and introduced them somewhat irreverently into his menu. Voracious creativity leads them down unexplored and unknown paths, from which deconstruction and conceptual cuisine all emerge.
