The internationally renowned concert pianist Bogdan (Zbigniew Zamachowski) can’t get over the loss of his wife. Isabelle, a famous opera singer, fell victim to cancer. He retreats to his mother’s contemplative farm. In the small village by the Baltic Sea he and his wife had sworn each other eternal love in their childhood on the beach. He neglects his career, takes to drinking and becomes increasingly lethargic. A musical cow gets Bogdan back to life. His relatives are stunned – he takes the cow as reincarnation of his wife.

A tragicomic film about love, life and letting go. A wonderfully droll story with all the fine nuances we also find in real life.
