A fine piece of pulp from Hamburg: Patrick feels lonely when he decides to search for his supposable genitor after the suicide of his mother. He starts a desperate visitation and finds a father with a perfect family. A beautiful wife, a cute daughter, a big house, a prominent person. An incarnation of Patrick's imagination. An image that Patrick in his anger destroys utterly. Regardless of the consequences.

Biography: Sven Halfar, born in Weingarten/Germany in 1972, studied at Hamburg Media School from 1998 to 2000. His graduation film IST GUT JETZT won Best Film at the Rome Short Film Festival. After making various short films and music videos, YES I AM! marked his feature-length documentary debut. After that he again shot various music videos, among them for Adé Bantu and Joachim Witt. His feature film debut DeAD premiered in the festival section “Perspektive deutsches Kino” at the 2013 Berlin International Film Festival.
