The second part of a trilogy about the long arm of domestic violence: Two brothers, Marten and Volker, meet up at their parents’ abandoned house. Marten, the older brother, has pledged to himself that the two of them together will go and pick up their mother who has been in prison for many years, since the death of their abusive father. But it seems that Volker has only come back to sell the house.

Biography: Florian Eichinger, born in 1971 in Ludwigsburg, is a German director, author and film producer. After five years of training and work as a TV journalist he started his own business in 1998 and wrote, produced and directed short films and music videos, among others for Udo Lindenberg. Since 2005 he also worked as a director for TV advertisements. In 2008, he made his first feature-length film BERGFEST, which screened at 20 national and international film festivals and won several awards. Similarly successful is his new film NORDSTRAND, coming to the cinemas at the end of 2013.
