Martha Atienza (born in Manila in 1981) notes her surroundings with precision and distils them into three video installation: FAIR ISLE (2016), without sound, is framed by ANITO 1 (2011–2015) and ANITO 2 (2017), an observation of an annual festival bursting with sound that gradually builds to modern insanity.

As a member of Nightshift, a group of photojournalists operating after dark, Raffy Lerma (born in Manila in 1978) captures the effects of Philippine President Duterte’s brutal anti-drug policies in his haunting pictures.

Kiri Dalena (born in Manila in 1975) is fighting for human rights in the Philippines in the midst of persecution at the hands of the state and rampant corruption. She depicts this suffering in poetic images in her moving short film GIKAN SA NGITNGIT NGA KINAILADMAN (2017).
