Hannelore Elsner was one of Germany’s greatest actresses. Sharing a selection of her most beautiful scenes drawn from a career spanning six decades, film scholar Urs Spörri will guide viewers through an evening-long tribute to the treasured diva, who passed away last April. Following this celebration of her life’s work, there will be a screening of Elsner’s favourite film, DIE ENDLOSE NACHT, a sort of German LA DOLCE VITA set in 1963 at Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport and shot in breath-taking black and white.
