For the eighth time, exground filmfest presents the international ON-VIDEO contest. 24 films from 13 countries compete for the jury award endowed with EUR 1,500. The prize money is sponsored by the exground filmfest circle of friends. 15 true friends of our festivals have donated EUR 100 each – we would like to take this opportunity to again thank them from the heart. A jury of three will decide which director can take home the award for "best film" on video format: Marion Pfaus, film maker and writer from Berlin, herself an award winner of the ON-VIDEO contest 2008 with 16:9 FULL HD, Jürgen Kittel, Artistic Director of the Hamburg International ShortFilmFestival, and Martin Gessner, producer from Wiesbaden. The winner will be announced in the framework of the award ceremony for the German Short Film Contest on November 22, 2009.
