INTERNATIONAL ON VIDEO CONTEST
A professional jury will hand out the ON VIDEO award for the best international short film on video, endowed with EUR 1,500.
YOUTH DAYS – INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FILM CONTEST
At exground filmfest 18, a feature film contest in the context of the youth days program was premiered. This year again a youth jury will choose the best international youth film from the youth days program and award it with EUR 2,500.
WIESBADEN-SPECIAL – SHORT FILM CONTEST
Premiered in 2005 – contest for short films by Wiesbaden production companies or local directors, audience award endowed with EUR 500.
WIESBADEN YOUTH FILM CONTEST
The youth days are being expanded by the Wiesbaden youth film contest – the short film contest for local up-and-coming directors between 12 and 18 years of age. The Wiesbaden youth film contest was endowed with 450 Euros prize money for the second time in 2008.
BETTING ON SHORTS: MORE THAN A EUROVISION OF SHORTFILM
„Eurovision du Court Métrage“! Short film contest screened simultaneously in Athens, Barcelona, Bucharest, Istanbul, London, Maribor, Naples, Novi Sad, Posen, Stockholm, Thessaloniki, and Wiesbaden; endowed with 500 Euros prize money.
FILM AB! 50
Short film competition hosted by the Federal programme "Perspektive 50plus" in partnership with exground filmfest, Wiesbaden; prize money 11,000 Euro in total.
