The well-done documentation of an impressive experiment in music. Stars of electronic music business like DJ Premier, The Crystal Method and Skrillex cooperate in developing their new pieces with renowned artists of another musical genre, among them soul singer Martha Reeves, country-legend Ralph Stanley and members of "The Doors". The mixture of instrumental and technically produced sounds creates an autonomous contemporary piece of art.
In the center of the film are unique personalities from the music business and their creative process – always affected by mutual respect for work and success of the respective other. A declaration of love to the music in its past and present form, taking a bow to the artists of each generation.
