THE THIN YELLOW LINE is the journey of five men who are hired to paint the median line of a road that connects two villages in Mexico. On board of an old truck, they do the job: more than 200 km that they have to complete in less than 15 days under a burning sun. Biography: Author and director Celso R. García was born in Mexico City in 1976 and is best known for his short films LITTLE RADIO (2002) and WATER AND MILK (2006), which received the Mayahuel Award for Best Short Film at the Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara in 2006. In collaboration with his colleague Francisco Payó González, he wrote the screenplay for HOMBRE DE UNA PIEZA (2005) and was awarded the Morelia Lab Award at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia in 2005. THE THIN YELLOW LINE is his directorial debut and was also written by him.
