Biography: Anj Macalanda is a licensed librarian. After graduating cum laude from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2007, she has been working in the information industry. After losing a special someone, she attempted to shift to the moving image. She made her first short film, GULONG which won Best Film and Documentary of the Year in festivals, and earned her the Best Director and Best Editing awards.
